Omitting the Factors

When two people are in love, does anything else really matter? Age, money, sex, likes, dislikes, are all just factors honestly. If someone were to really be in love, they wouldn't mind these factors. Love isn't something accomplished when a teenage girl meets a teenage boy and decides to make him her boyfriend. It isn't something to be flashed around and bragged about. Love is a joy found between two people that is unexplainable and hard to put into words.

Today we confuse love with the idea of being in love. It's not the same.

She stopped typing and looked at what she wrote. Reading it over and over again in her head, she got lost in my thoughts slowly as she stared at one word: love. Was she in love? Could she really write about love when she had never even met the guy she was in love with personally? Most people would say no, but she would disagree. Her online love was the same as any other. It was fun, innocent, sweet, and completely real. She always disregarded the negative thoughts put into her head about how love online isn't real. Sure, it may be dangerous, but she trusted this person with all her heart. She could honestly and truly say she loved him, something most girls her age couldn't do, and even though he was a couple thousand miles away, he loved her too. She was the first person he would text in the morning and the last person he would call at night. People closest to him would say he really did love her because he was always so absorbed in his phone when she messaged him. Their lives were hard before they met each other. No one could imagine what they were both going though before the day they met. It could have been enough to tear apart their newfound love, but they held on to each other and did whatever they could to be together.

They had a connection to each other emotionally and physically that was unexplainable itself. Everytime they talked on the phone, they forgot sleep, showering, and eating. They forgot the world around them and the things they were supposed to do. All they could think about is each other and how someday they would be in each other's reality. They wouldn't let anything pull them apart because their affection for one another was so much stronger than anything else. She was indeed head over heels for this person. So, could she truly write about love even though they never met personally? Yes, she could very much do so.

She titled her work, and published it with a smile on her face. Then, she looked down at her phone to text the person she genuinely loved.
