Wicked Game

Once there was a girl who was on top of the world
Then she met a guy and time flew by
She thought they'd be together
But he made her cry.

That same girl who was used as a pawn
Gave up on the fellow and moved on.
She focused on herself and put aside the hurt
And soon she met a guy who really wanted her.

This new guy was hurt;
She eased the pain.
The girl was still broken
He kept her sane.

The last boy came back one day to apologize
She was indifferent to his lies.
"I love you", he said, "I just didn't know it before."
"Not now", she replied, "I'm not yours anymore."
